Hi and a very warm welcome to The Watersedge Visitor Information Center We are situated on The Pier, Main Street, over-looking a working harbour. Mallaig is a working fishing village that is also the ferry link to the Isle of Skye and the Small Isles - Eigg, Rhum, Muck and Canna. Mallaig also operates the only ferry service to Inverie on the Knoydart penisula, which is said to be the last wilderness in the UK. From Mallaig you can look out over the water to the Isles. The Sea is a transparent blue and green, the scenery is breathtaking, so why not try some of the local walks while you are here? If you are lucky you may even witness the most vivid and vibrant rainbows to be found anywhere in the UK. But rather than me just tell you about it why not come to Mallaig and see for yourself; the special kind of magic it has to offer everyone. See you soon Cheers!
